Anyone who knows a pitbull should that they were bred for fighting for over 200 years. ^^^^your wrong-I bought my pitt to show people that they aint viciouse n all scary like they are made out to be------=---all Im sayin is to put 2 dogs face to face n hold them that way, no matter what the breed, theyre gonna fight--but it aint a natural environment for them to fight in cuz they were held in place by their owner and taunted by and an opposing dog---I just could never imagine myself raising something with the intent to fight and kill other dogs because I wouldnt want to put my time into something that, inevitably, more than any other situation, will result in the death of my dog later on down the road------------and yes if you fight your dog that is ultimately setting it up to potentially be killed----just wouldnt want to see that shit happen

They were bred for fighting, without their fighting past there would be no american pitbull terrier. dmx wouldnt be watched so closley, he wouldnt have these dogs. why do you think the pitbull is the most common fighting dog? Hmm? Your opinion is twisted dont you think? Any pitbull that nips at a person for no reason is unstable and should be put down. There are way to many poorly bred pitbulls from their homies breeding them thinking they know just what their doing. In which they dont.

False, the American pitbull terrier's purpose after being crossed with the old english bulldog type and a strain of terrier was to be the ulimate fighting machine. And before the english bulldog evovled into a small short and sweet bull dog, it was a larger and powerfully built dog used to bait bulls, boars, lions, etc etc, anything their owners want them to. After bull baiting was banned, they crossed the bulldogs with a terrier type dog to give them more speed, agiliy, dog agressiveness. With time, they dogs evovled naturally aggressive and fit for canine fighting.

So no, the pitbull wasn't bred to protect. Most tend to be human friendly and suck as protection dogs. When trained they are very dangerous. Which is why I say use a rottweiler for guardian and protection jobs.

Pure bred blue american pitbull terriers are rare. Dont' tell me, you own some rare blue PURE pitbulls. Because just a quick click on google, you''ll find all these bullshit as breeders claiming they have some real pitbulls. Please. If blue pitbulls were so rare, why is there so many? When you breed a pitbull for only its color, size etc etc, other than its ability to proform in the ring, you might as well call it a staffordshire, its cusin. Because in the old days, there wasnt no such thing as a 100pound pitbull. Pitbulls are working figthing animals, their weight should be 30-70pounds by average, there may be some freaks, however most of the time if you dont get some larger ones, its because people are idoits and aimming to breed for that trait.

Those large big headed so called pitbulls often seen in hip hop videos are only bluffs of the breed they used to be. DMX is one man who really owns true type pitbulls, I admire his faith towards the old game sport.

It wasnt until the wrong people got into the breed was which they started attacking people. It s cycle, people keep moving from breed to breed. First it was german sheperds, then dobermans, rottweilers. Now its pitbulls, in new york its the mastiffs, what breed is next these idoits are going to ruin?

Without a purpose, we'd still have the early forms of wolves that all dogs came from. If a greyhound is bred for run, do you train it to run? If a rottweiler was bred to guard, would you train it to have a natural insint to protect your home? I think not. So if a pitbull was bred to fight, do you think you have to train it? People THINk they are training pitbulls to fight, but all their doing is using the dog's insint to engage with another dog. Pitbulls are unalike to most dogs. Their insint to fight when cause them to ignore pain other dogs would feel when being biten and keep going. Why do you think people fight pitbulls and dumbass fight rottweilers?
