Whenever i download anything It goes really fast and then it slowly decreases,Help! it used to be faster before but now Every thing i download takes very long..i dont Understand? and i also have comcast! ive tried download managers they dont work, and ive even Installed my whole Xp Over.

what browser r u usin? did u try flushing your modem?(unplug the power cord for 20 secs then plug back in), r u using a router? if u r, do the same thing as u did to the modem. then use Internet Download Manger. works like a charm. if u still have problem let me know. run adware and spybot checks for spyware the ncould slow down ur pc & connection

Do what C.GizzL3 said, flush your modem, unplug it (completely) for about 1min and plug it back in (make sure you logout before you do).. And log back in

I really don't know anything about ComCast, as I'm in Australia.. But yeah flush it, and use Internet Download Manager, get it from my thread, and trust me, your speeds will fly!

I get well over 1.2MB's per second!

dawg, depends on how many users are downloading what u have. the less users the faster. the more the slower and slower it will get. cause it shares the bandwith with everybody.
